Notes

  • Captcha: ECMS asks for a one-digit arithmetic captcha (a 200x45 PNG) before it returns scans. The adapter reads the image itself and answers it, retrying on a fresh image when a glyph is not read with confidence. A batch shares one solved captcha.
  • Time zone: ECMS gives each scan's local clock time with no reliable zone, so localTime is set and timestamp and deliveredAt are null.
  • Handoff: message names the last-mile carrier ECMS passes the parcel to and the number it uses there, when ECMS shows one.
