# Geis Tracking API & MCP

URL: https://docs.lastscanned.com/carriers/geis

Query live **Geis** (`geis`) package status and scan history in a single synchronous `GET` request or MCP tool call.

## Overview & Quick Facts

| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| **Carrier slug (`?carrier=`)** | `geis` |
| **Brand aliases** | Geis Group, Geis CZ, Geis SK, Geis Transfer |
| **Category** | Pallet and parcel freight (Czech Republic, Slovakia) |
| **Single-package REST endpoint** | `GET https://api.lastscanned.com/v1/track/{trackingNumber}` |
| **Batch REST endpoint** | `GET https://api.lastscanned.com/v1/track?numbers=...,...` |
| **MCP server (`https://mcp.lastscanned.com`)** | `track_package`, `track_packages`, `list_carriers` |
| **Authentication & pricing** | `Authorization: Bearer lsk_live_...` · 1 free keyless lookup/day per IP |

## Tracking Number Formats & Auto-Detection

| Pass | Rule / Regex | Check Digit | Examples |
|---|---|---|---|
| **Pass 1 (`matches`)** | none | none | none |
| **Pass 2 (`mayMatch`)** | none | none | none |

`matches` and `mayMatch` are both empty: Geis numbers are 13 digits, a shape that is not exclusive, so pass `?carrier=geis`.

## Notes

- **Source**: the "detail of cargo" page of `geis-group.sk`, and of `geis-group.cz` when the Slovak site has no record. Each site only knows its own network's parcels. No account is needed.
- **Times**: every scan row carries an ISO time with its local offset, so `timestamp` is exact.
- **Status codes**: code 70 is `delivered`; other codes (20 arrived to depot, 30 loading to linehaul, 40 arrival to gateway) are `in_transit`, and the rest are read from the wording.
- **Not found**: the page's `was not found or was not handed over for transportation` heading becomes `not_found`.
