# Econt Tracking API & MCP

URL: https://docs.lastscanned.com/carriers/econt

Query live **Econt** (`econt`) shipments in a single synchronous `GET` request or MCP tool call. `lastscanned` calls Econt's shipment-status service, which answers without credentials, and returns the tracking events.

## Overview & Quick Facts

## Tracking Number Formats & Auto-Detection

Econt numbers have no check digit and share shapes with other carriers, so they are not auto-detected. Pass `?carrier=econt`.

## Synchronous `GET` Request & Normalized JSON Response

```bash
curl -s "https://api.lastscanned.com/v1/track/1051234567890?carrier=econt" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $LASTSCANNED_API_KEY"
```

```json
{
  "carrier": "econt",
  "trackingNumber": "1051234567890",
  "status": "in_transit",
  "statusDescription": "Arrived at hub",
  "service": null,
  "deliveredAt": null,
  "deliveredAtLocal": null,
  "signedBy": null,
  "destination": null,
  "events": [
    {
      "timestamp": "2026-10-26T06:30:00.000Z",
      "localTime": null,
      "status": "in_transit",
      "description": "Arrived at hub",
      "location": "Sofia Hub, Sofia, BG",
      "code": "hub"
    }
  ]
}
```

## Notes

- A batch goes in one request (up to 20 numbers).
- Event times are epoch milliseconds from Econt, so events carry a UTC `timestamp` and no `localTime`.
- Event types (`destinationType`) are mapped: `prepared` label created, `courier` out for delivery, `delivery` delivered, `return*` returned, `destination_office` waiting for collection.
