Query live **Chit Chats** (`chitchats`) package status, scan history, and the **handoff carrier's tracking number** in a single synchronous `GET` request or MCP tool call. Chit Chats ids are too generic to auto-detect, so pass `?carrier=chitchats`.

A Chit Chats id is 10 upper-case letters and digits (for example `A1B2C3D4E5`), a shape other carriers also use, so it is never auto-detected. Always pass `?carrier=chitchats`.

## Notes

- **Handoff**: `message` names the carrier Chit Chats passed the parcel to and its number (for example `"Handed to USPS as 9400100000000000000000"`). Pass that number to `GET /v1/track/{number}` for the partner's own scans.
- **Time zone**: Chit Chats event times carry a UTC offset, so `timestamp` and `localTime` are exact.
- **Unknown ids**: an id Chit Chats does not know, or one that cannot be an id, returns `not_found`.
